Pakistani Music

Everything about Pakistani music, feel like there needs to be a proper database with information and making sure that Pakistani music and artists have factual and up to date information. With he destruction of record labels and music channels in Pakistan, these resources have dried up. With apps like Patari and Taazi, the content is unfortunately limited to streaming which is sure their main goal but having further resources they could’ve built something more significant. Its up to someone to do the hard work and create this online website/community. Oh yeah and Pakistanis do need to move out of this nostalgia now, artists that broke through in early 2000’s have pretty much stopped making music. Why? Now, you can’t complain that there is no industry left. Actually, artists that broke through in the 90’s are also no where to be seen. When was the last time did you see Faakhir release good music. Should the overseas Pakistanis create something? Should the military have to come in and save this part of the industry too? Perhaps they should.
